Phil Weeks - City Of Love
INFO :
Label boss Phil Weeks is up next on his legendary Parisian imprint Robsoul with the City Of Love EP. It's funky, loopy disco house goodness of the deeper variety and opening track "Paris 2.0" sets the standard pretty well, straight off the bat. Also on the A side is the low slung deep groove of "Upper Zone" with dusty conga drums doing most of the work beneath a hypnotic melody. On the flip we've got the title track which is smooth and sleazy with its filtered funk/soul loops doing most of the work for early evening mood lighting on the dancefloor.
